This was yesterday, he carried on trying to scam me then called me back today on the callback number, I’m such a great human being he loves to talk to me.

He’s Rolf as in Rolf Harris. He got fed up of me yesterday but rather than hanging up he transferred me to the other guy 
Now that you’ve said Rolf, I went back and listened to the recording and that’s it. Thank you for the correct clarification.
Called these guys on 865-666-0475 several times. They wanted me to use support.me to download and allow them access to my PC.
The line is now busy.
I wonder where this number came from

1001: bot tells me to press 9, doesn’t register for me.

just answered me as support, they’ve turned it back on
862-296-1001 comes up as Nemesis System on caller ID. Please press 9 to speak to representative. I press 9 and it hangs up
I think maybe they just turn it off when they are not using it.
