Tech Scammer Alert - March 1st, 2018

Active Scammer - 1-855-557-8055 (Just got the voicemail a few hours ago)

Please Read below, I’m New to this site & would really appreciate any help with my questions, or stuff I didn’t mention below, any help is appreciated!

I got a voicemail on the house line where I live, Stating to be from Both Microsoft & Apple, telling me I have paid them money, & they want to give it back… I am going to use a VoIP to call them back, thinking about baiting them to connect to a virtual machine.

I’m new to this site, and am in IT, but I haven’t done any scambaiting yet. I’m wondering if it’s legal to send them a Payload .exe setup w/Metasploit, that contains malware?? Any other advice would be great, like the better free VoIP services / any other tips. Example is there any point of running a VM, inside of a VM? Or is that pointless? I use VMware Workstation Pro, wondering if there’s any point of messing with VirtualBox… I don’t like that you can’t get into the BIOS/UEFI in VirtualBox, but the training courses I’m taking, they use VirtualBox, so I have to take extra steps to do the equal in vmware.

Thank you so much. I meant that you can’t access the BIOS in VirtualBox, that’s a Great feauture in vmware, was refering to virtualbox, because of the courses I’m taking using it, but I’ll end up messing with it eventually, if I ever have someone who needs help with it, seeing how it’s free & does a lot.

Thanks for warning me about sending viruses, and thanks for answering so many of my questions so quickly. It's really appreciated. I'll be checking out FireRTC shortly. I kind of figured, but thanks for clearing up that a VM inside of a VM is pointless.

Again thanks for the time & quick, educated response. I appreciate that a lot. Also the Pie Chart there, reminding me why to scambait..
