Phone Number: 713 357-9037 (IPQS says is Peerless Network VOIP)
Message Content: Brief loud buzz, then call drops.
Additional information about this spam: I typically get ten to sixty spoofed likely Pakistani spam calls every weekday to my DNC-registered cellphone offering the usual host of illegial telemarketing. If the VOIP system can’t connect me with a VOIP bloop to a noisy call center, I get a brief loud buzz sound and the call drops at one of three consistent number of seconds prior to a minute. I believe this tone is some kind of error indicator.
If I get a human, they typically hang up on me, rarely stating that I’m on their do-not-call list (Figure that out before your system dials me, dipshits!)
Today, the number above buzzed me, but it included the shaken-stirred “Verified” checkmark!
Calling the number back got me the very familiar VOIP bloop and a male Pakistani accent greeting me. He immediately hung up on me.
Very curious what DBAs other folks might get!
