I just called now. A woman with what sounds to me an American accent answered!
I asked her immediately what her name is and what is the website of her employer.
She immediately became defensive.
Of course she hung up after the vulgar and uncouth language that I used to insult her.
Actually, I am shocked myself at the language that I used! But she deserves it to be sure.
Nice! Call them back and see if you can get one of those: A younger-sounding African-American male or an older White guy. Both of these get belligerent and are extremely rude. They also don’t hang up fast and will argue with you! Not sure what their names are, since they refused to provide them.
@Sol - you don’t happen to know their names, do you (in case if you spoke with these two; they are super argumentative and nasty)?

Yes, he called me a “f.g” just because I asked for the website. The younger Black male is very angry and argumentative, too. A nasty guy!

Other names: Brad, Ted, Alexander and Lawrence-who was super racist called me “a Mexican” (as if that was an insult) and said I don’t understand or speak English well enough to ‘get’ what he is saying.

I know they blacklist and block numbers fast. So, maybe this is the reason.
Or, perhaps, they have been receiving many calls and parked the number. Sensitive US scammers!

He was definitely nasty! I just asked for the company website because there are a lot of scams, I just want to keep myself safe. That’s when he lost it!
Same here. I got this younger Black guy who got nasty over the same thing. He called me a “scammer phishing for info to scam”. Apparently, saying that you want to ensure they are a reputable organization and asking for their website is somehow scamming! How come if you call, say, Home Depot or Southwest Airlines ,their employees don’t take offense to you asking for their website? Is it maybe because reputable and real organizations don’t robocall and harass the US public?
