"Tax Relief" scam

They sent an automated text message:

"Important Tax update give me a call at 949-288-8617
Reply STOP to opt out"

Soooooo I gave them a call. The menu says to press 1 if you are a new customer, press 2 if you were an existing customer with a question, or 3 to be added to the Do Not Call list . I pressed 1. The guy answered with "Tax Relief". I asked what company he was with and he wouldn't tell me the name. Just "a tax relief company". After the second time asking the guy began to get mad. I told him no need to get mad, enjoy the rest of your day, because the calls are about to pick up...

Definitely based in the U.S. They guy sounded to be in his 20s. Have fun.

I cannot tell if this is a legit service or not after a BBB search. Confused on this one

@oadamninic#96338 I’m not from the US so I’m not entirely sure but Tax Relief already sounds scammy. I guess nobody can relief you from taxes. It’s a govt imposed payment lol.
