Interesting, I called and navigated through the menu and was connected to a representative. I told him I was in Toronto, he said we only do US tax relief, we do not handle Canada. Not sure if that’s because the area code I was using is New York, but I’m going to call them back with a different number and try to get some information about who they are and what they do. Are you sure that they’re scammers?
Yes, remember that robocalls and scams aren’t the same. They may have an actual program to help with tax relief even if they are spamming people with robo calls. And even though it’s probably a sketchy number, everyone is innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt (even for us “vigilantes”).
