I have reported this number to Commio and I request that others report this as well. No call came in just the voicemail. When trying to verify the person answering makes threats when asked why they messaged a DNC registered phone. The threats and abuse are of a highly vulgar, life threatening nature, I have edited this from the first post and removed the threats. The message left from ‘Dave’ claiming that he had spoken with the call recipient and had unfinished business. The message was a male automated or prerecorded message.

Judging by the behaviors exhibited by these scammers, I think it is very possible of them being the same individuals as the ones who have been harassing me. See thread below.

By the way, if they choose to ignore your complaint, you can also email them at [email protected] and [email protected]. I detest and despise colossal Commie culprits from Commio making me cringe daily. Feel free to use a notice of this kind, with any modifications that you see fit:

Subject: Demand for Cease and Desist – Harassing and Illegal Robocalls

Dear Commio Legal Team,

I am writing to formally demand that you cease and desist all harassing robocalls originating from your client, “Tax Alliance Support,” to my phone number, which is registered on the National Do Not Call (DNC) Registry.

Recently, I received an automated voicemail message from a caller identifying himself as “Dave,” who claimed to have spoken with me previously regarding “unfinished business.” The message was recorded in a threatening tone and was abusive in nature. Additionally, when I attempted to seek clarification from the individual who answered the call, I was met with further threats and vulgar language.

These calls violate several federal and state laws, including:

  1. Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA): This law prohibits unsolicited telemarketing calls and requires express written consent before making autodialed or prerecorded calls to cellular phones.
  2. Telemarketing Sales Rule (TSR): This rule prohibits deceptive and abusive telemarketing practices, including calling numbers listed on the DNC Registry.
  3. State and Federal Harassment Laws: The threatening nature of the calls constitutes harassment and may violate various state and federal statutes designed to protect consumers from abusive practices.

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has taken a strong stance against illegal robocalls, as evidenced by their recent cease-and-desist actions against companies engaged in such practices. For your reference, I have included links to relevant documentation:

I expect your immediate attention to this matter and a written response confirming that all further communications from “Tax Alliance Support” will cease immediately. Failure to comply may result in legal action against Commio and its client for harassment and violations of the TCPA, TSR, and other applicable laws.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this urgent matter.

Sincerely,

[Your Name]

Feel free to CC this person too: [email protected]. She investigated COMMIO/ThinQ before. A very nasty enterprise they are!
