Suspicious site gtechmonitor.com

GTechMonitor.com is overwriting all of my Amazon links (US/CA) on my Chrome. All Amazon links are redirected through their site before landing on the legit Amazon. Affiliate link was detected. Redirecting... From anywhere I click (Google Search or Gmail) it redirects here first. Then redirects to Amazon.com. Spend less. Smile more.

BTW I live in Canada so I use Amazon.ca the most. Redirecting... redirects to Amazon.ca: Low Prices – Fast Shipping – Millions of Items Again, an affiliate link.

Do you have any trojans on the computer? Or untrustworthy browser extensions? Usually infected extensions will do this sort of stuff.

If the computer is completely clean, then it’s kind of a stretch but maybe someone hacked your router? I highly doubt it. But if that’s the case, I’m gonna need you to drive down to your local Walmart and buy me a couple gift cards to fix each and every thing for you. :stuck_out_tongue:

Oh, I remember now. GTechMonitor is related to GPUDrops. I have a captcha bypass extension by GPUDrops. Perhaps their extension is doing this. Oh well, I don’t mind that; there’s no malware as I have Norton 360 protection. As for the affiliate links, they can be slightly annoying as I’ll lose cashback if I activate it.
