tl’dr: these agents are claiming that my computer has a virus and are performing bogus diagnosis tricks to fool me into believing that. Then they proceed selling me an expensive “protection plan” to clean up the computer. Note that my computer is a clean virtual machine, downloaded directly from Microsoft, that has been snapshotted and is just a few hours old from creation.

Seems like they’re trying to avoid us now. Called them a few times and was put on hold for 10+ minutes before the call hangs up. I think they’re pissed already!

800-304-1625 Seems VM is hacked. Press one and then wait for the message and then press * to hear hacked message.

@drwat#113627 “Indian scammers will cheat out your money!”

Did not notice this till now. lel

I live by Middletown NY NOT middle town NY. DUMB scammers

not so sure about Tommy…

https://glamourfame.com/tommy-gabriel-takes-temporary-break-social-media-tv-personality

but that would be an interesting plot twist. takes break for mental health reasons... and works for scammers.

@cautionTosser#113938 I already had a phone call with Thomas Sparandera and sadly I didn’t record the call cuz I didn’t expect it to go in that direction however I just listened to the video in the link you posted and it sounds atleast similar. The person I spoke to was also a younger guy, maybe also like 25 years old and definitely not Indian. So it could be him but not 100% sure.

their numbers are down as of now.

Found new numbers:

833-543-8112 (Contact Us | Help & IT Support | Hello Nerds)

833-781-7707 (https://www.algolsemantics.com/contact-us)
