The number was previously reported on 800Notes, where users revealed that:

  • The number was used to make fraudulent cold calls under the guise of the “Department of Financial Relief Services” in regards to the “new zero tax debt program” that they falsely claim was “put into effect by the Biden Administration.”
  • The number was spoofed by an Indian call center posing as Microsoft.
  • The company that made the “financial relief” robocalls transferred the recipients to tax consultants with “Action Tax Group,” a business name for National Tax Advisory Services, LLC
