Student loan scam. They lock you out of FAFSA
What’s the end goal of locking someone out of their FAFSA, so they can apply?
It happened to my niece. The scammers tell the victim that they need to make only 7 payments in advance for $250x7 amount and the $60,000 loan will be forgiven. Once you pay (to them) they change FAFSA login.
Wow, that’s messed up. I’m sorry it happened to your niece. I really do hate these scammers.
