In October 2020 I thought I was applying to a student loan forgiveness program and paid $600 to enroll. Later on I get a call in April 2021 saying I need to pay an extra $600 for my paperwork to be finalized I said I need a refund because I can’t pay that. Then they waived the fee and said my paperwork went through. The guy Calls him self Steve Williams. I contacted my bank for them to tell me that it’s been too long and they can’t retrieve the funds and for me to contact the Better Business Bureau. I did contact the Better Business Bureau to be directed to the federal trade commission. I filed a report with them and I am still out of $600. I contacted the place where my loan was out of and they have no knowledge or record of paperwork. I have done my research and when I contacted them back they have no recollection of me. The phone number for this place is 844-620-1234. The federal trade commission said they would file a lawsuit on my behalf. Paid for a service that I never received they even use doc you sign. I’m chalking this up to a hard lesson learned if someone could shut this guy down for me. Tried looking up his number and couldn’t find his business. He’s operating under student loan services. Beware. Do not have to pay for student loan forgiveness. That number again is 844 620 1234

@Ottoman#189459 i’m happy to Report that I have been given a full refund. I still have their paperwork and buy their own company rules I shouldn’t have gotten a refund. I followed all the steps I contacted my bank then the Better Business Bureau then the federal trade commission. And this guy gives me a call saying please can you stop calling from different numbers. And then I get a picture of this money coming from overseas instead of California. Still seems like a scam to me the website has the right to remove my post. But screw this guy if he got $600 for me I got to think of how many people just like me who didn’t get their refund.
