I watched this video from Pleasant Green titled “I Fell for a Pig Butchering Scam” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IKOoqNdlQ8o posted 8 months ago. I found 11 comments seemingly appreciating the content of the video, but naming it as “Strongwidget”. All of the posts were sent “1 month ago” by seemingly fake youtube profiles.
I don’t speak English, so I haven’t been able to call the phone number or try to contact the company by email. But there are signs that it may be a scam:
Unknown location
On their website and Facebook page they say they are located in the US but they don’t say where exactly:
“San Jose, California, USA, San Jose, CA, United States, California”
Also, according to their YouTube channel the country indicated is Pakistan.
Fake company’s operating time
A Telegram story says the company has “over 15 years of experience in cryptocurrency recovery” however the web domain strongwidget.com was only recently registered in November 2022.
