Scam Number: (302)-281-5139

Extra Info: Today, 10-Feb-2022, at 11:44 AM Central, I received a Text Msg on my home landline number from the phone number (786) 825-9707 and it says the following:
ALERT:- YOUR VISA CARD STARTING WITH 4XXX-XXXX-XXXX-XX22 USING FOR PORN SUBSCRIPTION TO STOP CALL SUPPORT (302)-281-5139
Firstly, for the record, I do NOT have a Porn Subscription. I get my porn for FREE!
So I called the (786) 825-9707 that sent the Text Msg but after one ring I got a message machine and I did NOT leave a msg.
I called the (302)-281-5139 per the Text Msg. A guy answered as “Adam” with Support. He had a foreign accent but I could understand him. I asked sincerely, “Hi Adam. With what company are you?” He said he is with Social Security Services. I said, “Oh … I got a text message saying to call this number about fraudulent activity on my Visa credit card.” Per his request, I read him the text message word for word. He said that he will transfer me to the Fraud Department to handle the Visa credit card text message. He did not seem to be expecting any call about fraudulent activity on a credit card. I said, “Adam, I do not understand how the same phone number 302 281 5139 is for both Social Security AND a Visa Credit Card.” He said that “sometimes with a phone number there is a conflict” and that he would transfer me to the Fraud Department to handle the fraudulently activity on my Visa credit card. I told him a lie and I said, “Oh, Adam, I gotta get off of the phone. I’ll call back. My supervisor at work must speak to me now.” So I got off of the phone without saying anything to spook him or to let him know that I know it is a scam.
These scammers have one phone number (302)-281-5139 for BOTH SSA and Visa Credit Card scams? He did not seem to know though about the text msg concerning the need to call this phone number for Visa credit card fraudulent activity. This is very strange!
I must logout after posting this thread as I need to leave to go to an appointment. I do not have any Visa card that has 22 as the last digits of this 16-digit account number per the Text Message. Also, obviously the (302)-281-5139 number is NOT on the back of any Visa credit card. Obviously of course a phone number would NOT be used for both Social Security Services AND a Visa credit card company.
Let me know please if any of you call this number by posting to this thread? I am curious if you get someone answering as SSA like I did.
If you call, I guess you could use the text msg to call about the fraudulent activity on the Visa credit card OR you could call to explore the details of the SSA scam since “Adam” answered as Social Security Services.
I wish I did not need to leave now.
