@drwat#165566 Was this originally a robocall with a call back number or one of those press one things? I called and said I had received a recorded message to call and he immediately hung up.
Edit: tried again and just said I was calling because of some problem with my SSA, and asked if I was calling the right number... said it wasn't and repeated that he was Customes and Border Patrol, then hung up.

@Draco#165572 LOL - I got a Michael Murphy, Jack Anderson and Alex something… One guy I confronted asking where he was located. Said he was in the headquarters in Washington state (not DC). So I asked why I was calling a number in Alabama, and he said that was their main number and it was forwarded to him. So then I asked why my ‘voice over IP tracing software’ showed he wasn’t even in the US. He perked up a bit and in a sort of challenging tone, asked where it said he was if he wasn’t in Washington state. I told him it appears he was somewhere in India, like maybe around Jaipur. Click.
Called back again and got this Alex guy... he asked my name and I told him Jack Anderson (one of the scammers in that call center). Then I asked him what his last name was because I didn't catch it. He said "No, I will not give you any more information because you are providing me with wrong information". I chuckled a bit and said, "Oh, you mean like you claiming to be from US Customs based out of Washington state, when you really are some low life scum bucket scammer sitting in a COVID infested call center hole in the wall over in India... you mean like that kind of wrong information?" Click.
I don't think these guys can block calls.

I finally got one of these scumbags on the line & gave an abbreviated fake first name. He began lecturing me about the fact that this wasn’t a coffee shop where I was ordering coffee, but instead a government office. I didn’t even get a chance to reply with something witty, because he immediately hung up. I keep trying back and no one will pick up.
I hit them super HARD … DOUBLE PHONE 4 BURNERS … dead they went home empty handed
