Scambitch - (323) 408-2555
Very pissed off “Stop calling!” (Sure thing bitch heh heh)
@MQ9#146094 I had a lot of those today. Nasty nasty nasty. I could barely hear her it was such a bad connection. Called back and got a retard who wanted my whole SSN.
@MQ9#146081 OMG, I called the 323-408-2206 number and who the hell do I get? Mr. Robert Watson - the guy I played earlier (323-408-2376) and couldn’t call back because the number was taken down! Holy crap!
So I played him for all it was worth. Told him that I just got back from the store with my two E-bay gift cards like he asked. He said he tried to call me a couple times and I didn't answer - well no shit brainiac, I was out getting the damn cards and you were calling my house. Anyway, he asked me to flip the card over and was about to get me to give him the numbers when I interrupted him: "Excuse me Mr. Watson, but I'm now very suspicious". He asked why and tried to reassure me that he was just there to help with any problems I may have.
"Well Mr. Watson, it seems that when I got back from the store, I had some mail in my box, and one was from the Social Security Admin. And on the back, it had a disturbing warning.". He asked what it said, so I read it to him.

I asked him if he was trying to fool me. He insisted he was legit, and that if he had wanted to scam me, he would have just asked for credit card and bank information, blah, blah, blah...
So I said "Well, Mr. Watson, I was disturbed by the alert, so I called the Social Security Administration directly and asked about you and my case. First off, they said that they could not suspend or revoke a SSN even if they wanted to. Secondly, they said that they would never have contacted me by phone in the manor he had. And lastly, they said that not only was there no badge ID of "B156", that that isn't even a valid format, and there is nobody within the organization named Robert Watson who would even be closely associated with such a matter. Plain and simple, they said you were a fraud and a scammer Mr. Watson, and that you were simply trying to steal my money. They asked for some information like what phone numbers you were using, time of day and other particulars, and said they would start an investigation in conjunction with other governmental agencies such as the FBI and CIA.".
Wow - after all of that, he KEPT INSISTING that he was real, and that if I didn't believe him then he would have no choice to send the cops to my door and arrest me! I told him that is EXACTLY what the scam alert said he would do. I also threw in the fact that he didn't even know my address, social security number or even my real phone number - and since he was a fake SSA employee, he couldn't call the cops on m anyway. So he said he knew all that information, and to stay at my house because the authorities will be showing up within the next 15 minutes. To that he hung up - playing the part all the way to the bitter end. Towards the end it got pretty heated and I may have called him a few names or insulted his intelligence once or twice. Ubelievable. But due to the enjoyment factor alone, along with stumbling on his new number to complete the story, I'll give this one an 8 out of 10!
@Otis#146183 Called the (323) 408-2555 number and got a femscammer. I was calling as a 65 year old man who lives on his social security check. She asked the usual stuff, name, last 4 of SSN, and then asked how old I was. Told her 65, and gave her my birthday even though she hadn’t asked. She was repeating it back and said 1855 kind of confused. In a kindly old grandpa way, I said “No dear, 1955… 1855 would make me 165 years old and I don’t expect that I’ll live quite that long!”. She giggled and and repeated the correct number to which I verified. Then she said that she would have to search for my file to see what the problem was and that she would give me a call back in 5 or 10 minutes. I told her “Oh no, I have to leave here soon so I won’t be able to answer your call. My grandson is coming to pick me up and we are all going to a BBQ. It’s Aunt Marthas birthday and the whole family is going to show up. It will be a real hoot, and I’ll probably wind up staying there really late, like maybe even as late as 9pm or maybe even 10! If you want to call me back, it would most likely have to be tomorrow sometime”.
She said no problem, she would call me back. I acted concerned, and wanted to make sure that there was nothing going to effect my social security checks as that is pretty much my only source of income. She wouldn't say what was going on, only that I had nothing to worry about and to enjoy the party. She even told me to wish Aunt Martha a happy birthday before hanging up. Go figure.
