Tried to get a phone number verification, but was pretty easily confused into continuing on with the script without it! Conversation didn’t last long though when he asked me if I had ever spoke with anyone in his department before. I asked what department, and he said the department of social security. I told him that social security was an agency and had lots of departments, and that I have spoken with many of them before, so he would have to tell me what department he was in. He kept repeating “department of social security”, then he started yelling at me telling me to not tell him his job. I kept asking for the department he was in, and he asked “Well, what departments have you spoken with”? I told him “the human resources department, the billing department, the check processing department, and I believe at one time the special services department because I needed to have my checks re-routed for a few months”. Click. Go figure.
