@MQ9#145044 @Otis Called and use the name Bobbielyinne Hannah MacFadden which took the femscammer five minutes to figure out. Then she did the thing about Taaxxxes and I said no I have never been there but my brother stole my car and wallet and fled there and the police are looking for him. Are you calling about him being caught? I ain’t bailing him out of jail! Silence. So I repeated it. She then asked for my SSN. I repeated it. Silence. I got BITCH after she finally figured it out.

@MQ9#145044 @Otis Got her again using my Hispanic voice. Again with the name! FIVE times I had to spell Genevieve Alexandra Villaneuava. Not too hard, right? Jennifer Lee was her name. She started with the stupid spiel and I told her I had no car, no DL since my DUI, my husband died, and I was pregnant. Think she cared? I started crying and told my brother Pedro to go the bank to take out my last $400. NO NO NO! Sorry, Jennifer, he already left! BITCH!

@MQ9#145044 @Otis Told him I was Ethel Mertz from NJ. I told him I was blind. He still tried to get me to go to the store and get the Wouchers. He told me to take my seeing eye doggie and walk.

@MQ9#145044 @Otis @Draco @drwat She was scamming a blind woman. I could not take it anymore at the end so please excuse my language.

@MQ9#145044 Ok, tried a new slant on this. Called 'em up and got Ms. Kelly Butler. She asked the usual stuff and then started into the script about how my SSN had been used for fraudulent activity and all that jazz. “Wow, that is great!” I said. She seemed a bit confused and asked me why it was great. “I’m a freelance reporter for the NY Times, and I’m currently writing a book on Identity Theft - so the timing couldn’t be more perfect!”. She wasn’t sure how to respond. I continued on “Can I get your name, and if you don’t mind, your consent to write about you in the book? If it gets published, you will receive a royalty payment from it… Is this the correct number to reach you at?”. She gave me her name (and badge number) and said it was fine to write about her in the book ;-O

But I guess my enthusiasm got a little over the top as I was stopping her quite often to 'write down the details', She pushed on, but was having problems answering some of my questions because they were way off script. I guess the last one that broke her was when I asked where exactly the car was found on the southern border of Texas. I've never heard them specify anything other than the southern border, so I guess that is one they aren't prepared for. She hung up - guess she wasn't too interested in that royalty payment. Subsequent attempts to reach her have ranged from the guy laughing at me before he hung up, to the old 'let me transfer you' trick where they put you on hold and then the line drops. Bummer... thought I have a good cover story but I guess not.
