I was actually on the call for 1 hour and 28 minutes. Started with Officer Hardin Scott, then onto DEA Senior Officer Jeremy Lamb, Federal Badge # 281960. I played the compliant old man with dementia, and Lamb wanted me to clean out my bank account of $20,000+ to be put in a “safety locker”. After a short drive to Wells Fargo, I was only able to withdraw $9,000 because to get more would mean filling out federal forms and an interview with the manager. So he settled for $9,000. Turned out, the safety locker was at Target, a government certified store. And I had to convert the cash into a government voucher. He was telling me what to do at the Target parking lot, but our call got disconnected mid sentence. Probably technical difficulties at his end.
I was inclined to call back to find out what to do with the $9,000 but the Mrs was giving me the evil eye because we had to go to Tractor Supply Company for some pullet feed. So, I'll try tomorrow or Monday, and see if I could lead this Lamb to slaughter.
