@tmaxxer#152840 Spoke with a Mr. Richard Parker… he started into his script and I kept asking how that was possible, I’d been waiting to hear from the SSA forever regarding getting a SSN and was hoping he was calling to let me know one had been approved. Now, since I have activities against it, it must have been approved! Not one bit of that phased him in the least, and he just kept going on with the script. Over and over again I pressed him for my SSN and how excited I was to finally get one - which was apparently went in one ear and out the other. That continued up until he got to the part about this being such a confidential matter, and he wanted to ‘verify’ that he was speaking with the correct and proper person - so I needed to give him the last 4 of my SSN! I told him AGAIN that I didn’t have one, was hoping he was calling to give me the good news, blah, blah, blah… He acted super confused and said “Hold on, let me checkee” and put me on hold for about 3 minutes.

When he got back on the line, he just said "hello". I responded in kind. Then he said "Ok". So I said "Ok". I'm pretty sure he was way confused at that moment, so he asked again "Ok sir, can you give me the last 4 digits of your social security number again"? AGAIN?!?!? I told him that he couldn't be that stupid, that I had told him multiple times I didn't have one, etc, etc, etc... and then asked if I could speak with someone who knew WTF they were talking about because he obviously didn't. Click.

@jaymee#152919 It happens. Try counting to 25 or getting a cup of coffee or petting your kitten. If you see that red box in the bottom left corner, you can refresh the site and go back and fix it. I still do it all the time but I catch it pretty quick.
