I received a call from this number yesterday: 650-260-7901 saying I was accused of money laundering and my social security number has been suspended indefinitely and that law enforcement will be at my home shortly. I was at home most of the day and no one showed up. I knew it was a scam just by the sound of the voice on the other end.

@FattyMatty#112205 Colleague of mine was tormenting some scammers a while back an they threatened to have the cops at his doorstep in fifteen minutes. Oddly enough FEDEX shows up with a delivery around the same time. He nearly shit a brick!

@MQ9#112207 Yeah I think you or one of the other long timers admonished me about using my regular number to call them back a few months ago. Someone was apparently swatted with the scammers spoofing his home number. I would call back dozens of times so I appreciate the heads up!
@FattyMatty#112328 Also *69 does NOT block all numbers. Any of the 800 series toll free numbers can see the actual number. The Klan used to have a toll free number but dropped it due to the calls they received.
