They left a voicemail this morning. I called them back and verfied. It is a scam 408-520-9265
I was talking to “Officer Jasmine Julia”. Accent sounded to be more Asian, either she was Northeast Indian or Filipino maybe… Apparently she’s new. She didn’t know what to do and then she said she will call me back in few minutes when she pulled up my data. Didn’t receive any call back from her.

They will ask for your Social Security Number, I used a generator and it seems to be a valid one but she didn't like it and hung up.
They answer right away. For now, anyway.

I flirted with one girl, wished her happy valentines day!

They’re from India. Lots of Northeastern/Manipuri people over there.
@NeeP#75269 Hi Neep: SSN starting with 512 were issued in Kansas state until 1972.
Do you think the second scammer “Amy Rose” may be from Manipur? Like Christina.
Fist one is likely from Nagaland. Lupita scambaited “Amy” in November 2018
@drwat#75320 Hey drwat, how do I generate a valid SSN? I used a site called https://www.ssn-verify.com/generate
and selected a reasonable year/age there (1993 for me) and clicked generate until I recieve a SSN that has the same year:
Yeah I think they're all from Manipur / Nagaland maybe. How do you know Lupita scambaited them? :O
@NeeP#75280 Sounds nice, this female from Imphal. One nice lake is Loktak lake.
@NeeP#75326 As you know (from my other name/avatar (initial N) in YT) I keep database for scammers, I keep notes when I watch YT videos.
about SSM after 1972:
Since 1972, when SSA began assigning SSNs and issuing cards centrally from Baltimore, the area number assigned has been based on the ZIP code in the mailing address provided on the application for the original Social Security card. The applicant’s mailing address does not have to be the same as their place of residence. Thus, the Area Number does not necessarily represent the State of residence of the applicant, either prior to 1972 or since.
Generally, numbers were assigned beginning in the northeast and moving westward. So people on the east coast have the lowest numbers and those on the west coast have the highest numbers.
(so if you gave NY state your address chose lower three digits and if California, use higher digits)
For Illinois:
318-90-xxxx 1994
319-90-xxxx 1994
320-90-xxxx 1994
323-90-xxxx 1994
For California:
545-87-xxxx 1985
545-99-xxxx 1987
546-99-xxxx 1987
547-99-xxxx 1987
@drwat#75329 alright but then why did she hang up the call? As far as I understood now the SSN does not necessarily represent the residence so my number that I gave her should have been valid I guess. Any clue? Or maybe she knew already due to my young voice that I’m not a possible victim? Anyways thanks for your detailed informations as always!
@drwat#75329 There is also a database where you can get a SSN by state AND birthdate so when they ask your SSN and birthdate, they match.
https://www.ssn-verify.com/generate
@NeeP#75333 If you want a valid SSN, use https://www.ssn-verify.com/generate. You can generate SSN by state and by birthdate. They work very well. I have a suspicion that they use the same database by what they have said. When I use a Texas SSN, I use 1988 because it is the first year it was issued. When they look it up, they see that and don’t bother to look and see that it was issued from1988 to 1995. They are not very bright.
