I talked with Ricky Tanner. As he was telling me about my arrest warrent I hung up on him. He the called me back by spoofing a real social security fraud reporting number. I called him back again and started calling him Indian names. This got him triggered. He continued on calling me Indian names.
This scammer has a google voice number. Currently if I call this number it says “the google subscriber you have called is not available”. So I did some research to see how are these scammers getting these Google voice numbers. I found that one method and is called the “double-digit phone scam”. The scammers goes to Craigs list and finds a victim. They message the victim and tell them that they are interested in what they are selling and that they will call them with Google voice and that the victim should enter a two digit number. The scammer has Googles phone system call the victim and the victim enters the two digit number. At that point the scammer gets their own Google voice phone number to use for scamming other people.
