Too funny... got a Mr. David Morgan. He was going on about how my SSN was being suspended because of suspicious activity and I interrupted him to get some info... wanted his name, to verify he worked for the SSA, and asked what department within the SSA he worked for.
His answer: "The Asset Verification Form Department"! I swear, that is what he said- verbatim.
I sort of freaked out, "Huh - The 'asset verification form department' - that isn't a department name!"
He then asked "well what kind of department are you asking about" or something like that, so I replied "The SSA has a lot of departments... Human resources, legal, personnel, MIS/IT, and so on... which one do you work in?".
So again, I swear, this is what he said "I work in the department that processes the asset verification forms".
I just couldn't get past that.. so I said "Oh come on man, you can do better than that! Be creative, tell people you work in the fraud division of the investigation department or something like that - it would make you sound WAY more believable.. as it is, you just sound like a 4th grader making crap up.
