@MQ9#154042 LOL - got Kevin Huse. Went ahead and told me about the issues regarding my SSN, and THEN asked for my SSN as part of the ‘verification’. You just can’t make this shit up! So he asked for my social and I gave him the last 4. Said he needed the full number. “Sir, the social security administration has been saying for years, both on their web site and on all the documentation they send in the mail, that they will NEVER ask for a full social security number - THEREFORE, either you are NOT a social security employee, or the SSA has been bullshitting about asking for a full number for over 10 years now - which is it?”.
Oh, the fun was just beginning. He tried to get me to 'calm down', and tried to explain why he needed the full number. I told him to pound sand and if he couldn't 'verify' me with the last 4, then he must think I'm stupid (I believe the term 'shit for brains' came up in there somewhere :)
Then he tried to convenience me that he was really SSA by telling me to google his name. I told him that I could pull any name I wanted off a web page and pretend it was me. Then he asked if I wanted his 'federal employee badge ID'. I told him "Sir, I can make up just as good a badge ID as you - how about this, my badge ID is SSA70942, does that work for you". He chuckled a bit at the "SSA" part and I said, "Yup, the Social Security Administration badge ID - it's just as valid as the one you made up". This went on for a few minutes until he pulled the inevitable "Police will be arriving at your doorstep within the next 30 minutes to take you into custody". Wow, he was a real trooper to the end, so I told him I would love that, and I'll have some milk and cookies waiting for them. But then I said "Oh, wait, you don't even know where the F I live, do you dip shit? Man, you make a really lousy scammer and really need to find a job more suitable to your intelligence, like cleaning toilets or digging ditches.
