ALERT: Toll free number. Grasshopper Group. Hit em hard!

Going straight to VM. These guys are toast again.
Smells like a grasshopper number. Calling now!

I see the Grasshopper numbers aren’t popping up as often as they were. I wonder how much of an impact we’ve been making on their bank accounts.
I think the impact is significant. Also, it’s about time for the FCC or some other USG regulatory agency to stomp on these assholes and hit them with a major fine and/or jail time. The argument may be made that they are impacting National Security.
@MQ9#87934 Well we know from the secret Facebook groups they have that scammers talk to each other. I think word is going around from a few of the scammers who left their numbers up for over a week and got raped for thousands, that this is probably not so profitable an adventure that they’d hoped.
It could also be Grasshopper noticing that we are blasting their numbers with them popping up so often.
@Philmuhcrackin#87974 True. The voicemail is always the same on Grasshopper so that is hosted. They still have to pay carrier charges for it and if they’re not getting that money out of the scammer, it comes out of their hide.
Either way if Grasshopper parks the number for us, we still win. :-)
@kenzo#87975 i can tell a grasshopper number just by the hold music, which I actually enjoy lol
@kenzo#87955 Would be nice to get some of these Facebook accounts.
@Philmuhcrackin#87976 Same here I don’t do carrier searches anymore I can tell right away it’s Grasshopper just by listening.
With our calls what does the damage…time or volume or both. When calls go to VM I usually hang up. Does it cost them more if I just don’t hang up?
