Fake Investigator Steven Thomas Badge ID 758529. Seems sloppy, didn’t even do the usual SS number screening. I think they’re doing the turbo or express mode scam. No longer TX, now it is Maryland. No more Corolla, now it is a 2006 Toyota Tacoma truck. No more senior officer, the person who answers does everything. And no more going to the bank - they just want to make sure you have enough credit on your visa or mastercard, and instruct you to go to a “government outlet” to convert your money to government bonds. Their story about freezing your bank account and protecting your bank deposit doesn’t hold water anymore. They want to steal from your credit card.

Go get them!

Now there’s an Office Judy Johnson, Badge 72015. Wow, they’re really doing a Reader’s Digest version of this scam. Badabing, badaboom, go straight to Walmart, Target, CVS, or Walgreens, etc. Just make sure you bring your Visa and Mastercard with you. I guess they found out that you can actually purchase gift cards using your credit card. No more withdrawing cash from the bank. Less hassle. They’re evolving.

Mom and pop shop? Steven and Judy. Yes, they stopped answering. Maybe tomorrow? They use the same hold music as the Amazon IVR system, but anyone can get free trial versions. Popular among scammers.

Thanks for the tip. I'll say $300 limit a day on my ATM card. We'll see if they bite. $300 bait might be attractive enough. Mas vale algo que nada. Something is better than nothing.
