On the job trainees, I bet. Very, very noisy background, with people yelling and screaming in the background (hopefully to fellow scam baiters). Rank amateurs. Officer Michael Clark would put me on hold every so often to consult with someone else. Finally, I got DEA Officer Xavier Smith. This dude was no better. Didn’t really know what he was doing. He gives me back to Officer Clark for the duration of the drive to the bank. (15 minutes).
When I reached the bank parking lot, Clark gave me back to Xavier Smith. Oops, there's a sign on the door that due to COVID-19, all person to person transactions have to be conducted at the main office. That's another 15 minutes. More hold time and driving sound from scambaitsoundboard.com. When I got to the main bank office, Xavier Smith got really impatient. Every 10 seconds he'd yell (the phone is in my pocket, remember?) do you have the money? I always respond I'm still in the queue ... he got annoyed and said "you've been playing with me for a long time". It was over 2 hours, actually I needed to do something else, so I just played the banchod song from Youtube until he hung up.
