@drwat#146063 On with Linda Winston (72015) waiting to be transferred to her “Senior”. They sure are parsing down the asset verification stuff… didn’t ask about a drivers license, or if I had a car or about any other accounts, none of the usual stuff. Guess they are getting lazy.
Anyway, got transferred to Nathan McCarthy - certainly did not have the usual Indian accent. He went through they usual script rather swiftly as if he was in a hurry. Got to the part about going to my bank and calling him from the parking lot. "But sir, I don't think they have a pay phone at the bank". Whoops... no cell phone, darn it. So he apparently just gave up and told me that he was sending the US Marshall out to my house to talk to me, period, end of story. Just before he hung up, I asked "Sir, sir, can I ask you a question". He said sure.. so I asked "Sir, are you real". He answered "No, I'm not real" and hung up.
Well, a couple calls back to them and finally I got some other femscammer who seemed a bit confused. I went through all that had taken place, speaking with first Ms. Winston, then Nathan, and how he said he wasn't real and hung up. She asked why, and I said I had no idea, but it was right after I told him that I didn't have a cell phone. We played info tag for a bit and then she said to hold the line... and wham, Mr. McCarthy was back on the line with me!!! I asked him why he hung up, and he said that I was disrespecting him, and that he was busy working on a lot of cases and was simply trying to help me. I said that I had something I had received from the SSA a few days ago that I wanted to read to him when he hung up the first time.
He said to go ahead. So I repeated the back of the envelope (BTW: This is really what was on the back of a SSA envelope I received!) - "___! SCAM ALERT ! Scanners are pretending to be government employees. They may threaten you and may demand immediate payment to avoid arrest or other legal action. Do not be fooled!___"
Then I sakd, "So Mr. McCarthy - are you trying to fool me?"
Silence for a good 15-20 seconds, then "Could you repeat that" - so I did, and asked the same question, "Are you trying to fool me sir?".

Called and got voice mail a bunch of times, then he finally answered. Played dumb, like he had no idea who I was. Kept asking him why he wouldn't answer my question, and if he was trying to fool me. Asked if he wanted me tor read it again, and he said something and hung up. Now I'm just flooding his VM with the Tunak-Tunak-Tun song ;)

Wow, I told him I was returning a call, and he said “What do you mean?” and hung up.
