@drwat#149791 Short call for me on this one… gave him my name and then asked for his… told me he was Agent Matt Rossa. I then asked what government organization he worked for and he hung up ?!? Called back and got some other goomer who put me on hold for a bit and then told me that Mr. Rossa will call me back. He ain’t gonna get anything but endless ringing, because I can’t do call backs… guess I’m gonna have to change my CID and try again ![]()
@Otis#149804 LOL - lots more fun. Got a Mr. David Brown. He went into the script as usual - suspending my SSN, case against me for money laundering and drugs, etc… When he asked if I had been contacted by anyone regarding these matters, I told him “No, no, no… what you say is not possible. Did you run this past the FBI? Do you know who I am or what my circumstance is?”. After about 10 seconds of silence, he launched into the same script again as if I hadn’t said a word. Typical script reboot when things go off the rails for them.
Anyway, he kept trying to insist that he had orders to suspend my SSN and all that, and I kept telling him that he couldn't, then asked if he had a pen and paper to write down some necessary information. I told him to call 1-800-225-5324 (main FBI number). Gave him the name of a Colonel to ask for, and an "issue ID" reference number to give. Subtle plot point - the reference number I gave him ended in "DC7010"! The Colonel should 'explain each and every thing' as to why the SSA cannot touch my SSN, and the DEA nor anyone else can touch me - mainly because I am a federally protected witness in the witness protection program <grin>. He kept at it saying he cannot involve any third party, and I kept insisting that he obviously has no idea what the witness protection program is. It took a while, but I think he finally figured out what a federally protected witness is, I think. So he then asked __why__ I was in the program, and I told him that is highly confidential and I've already said more than I should have. Told him again to call that number and the Colonel will explain why there isn't a damn thing he can do to me and any attempt to do so will be squished like the little bug he is (had to throw that in there).
Only wasted about 30 minutes on this call, but I wanted to do a unique plot twist using the witness protection program - and it turned out pretty darn entertaining watching him try to wrap his tiny little brain around the concept. Wonder if he actually called the FBI? That would be a hoot - although I don't think he will ever reach Colonel Jack O'Neil - he's in the Air Force and located over in Cheyenne Mountain ;-O
