i just called them and talked to a guy for a while. i wish i recorded it. i asked why he’s scamming and he said he feels bad about it and doesn’t want to do it but he has no other choice. he said he’s homeless and the call center provides him with a shelter and food. not sure if it’s a sob story or not (it probably is) but it was interesting. he stayed on the phone for a while.

@parkbench#99197 I’ve had conversations with scammers like that before. You never know if they’re telling the truth or not but it’s interesting to get an insight as to how things work.
