Got Cooper… slapped him around a bit and he started with the threats… eventually he just hung up. Called him back, and he answered with “Anthony Cooper Badge 141596”… I said “But Mr. Cooper, you said your badge was 141593 when I just talked to you a second ago”. Click. Called back a few more times, got either VM or quick hang-up’s. Finally an answer and an obvious faked cartoon little kid voice answered. I ignored it and said “Mr. Cooper, just a couple of points - first off, the SSA cannot suspend or revoke a number - they are permanent. Second, the SSA cannot issue warrants for arrest, and certainly not for drug trafficing. And finally, there is this really neat SCAM ALERT printed on the back of all SSA envelopes being mailed out that says…” that was about when he hung up again.
