@drwat#153792 Was just in a feisty mood and didn’t really want to play the whole script… the guy got up to asking if any local law enforcement agencies had called regarding my ssn (why do they even bother asking that?), and I said “No, why in the hell would they”. He asked if this was the first time hearing of this matter (another Duh! moment). I needed to get another cup of coffee, so I asked him “Excuse me, you said you worked for the social security administration, correct?”. He said yes, the ‘investigative division of the SSA’. So I continued “And you said you were going to suspend my social security number for suspicious activities, is that correct?”. He said yes. So I just told him “No sir, you are full of shit”. He paused a few seconds and said “You are full of shit” - quick thinker this one! I went on to say how the SSA couldn’t suspend a SSN even if they wanted to, and him claiming that he could was just a bunch of bullshit. He couldn’t thing of a comeback, so he hung up.
