Spoke with a Mr. Jason Reed (GSS21161) regarding my case CP88268. Usual script with the Toyota found at the southern border of Texas, addresses related to car raided, illegal stuff found, etc… Didn’t like being talked over, but grudgingly put up with it to a degree. When he started explaining the ‘charges’, he mentioned that it could be a case of identity theft, or perhaps someone had conned the info from me. I zeroed in on the ‘scammer’ reference, and how I really despised those low life bastards, how they were scum of the earth… really piled it on about how much they were just shitty people in general and a huge waste of skin ;-0
Kept the asset verification part going on for almost a half hour as I kept remembering where I had stashed more money (under matress, locker at bus terminal, metal can under a tree out back and so on...). I also mentioned that I had several hundred in an offshore account as well, which didn't seem to interest him much. He was very pushy when it came to how much I had in my savings and checking. I told him a couple thousand between the two, and he kept pushing me until I broke it down by acount - weird. He also did the credit card, retirement funds, and all that other crap that is totally useless info to him, so I went wild and made up all sorts of retirement 'accounts' and income sources - to the point where he told me he didn't need any more info and to shut up!
He then transferred my info the the Us Marshall, who apparently approved the info and was willing to help me rectify the situation. He put me on hold again while he was going to transfer me, and after about 30 seconds, the line hung up. I tried to call back and got instant VM or 'call rejected' responses. Not sure if they just realized I was playing them (I was kind of over the top on some), or they got taken down while I was online with them...
