Got a robocall from a spoofed number. I spoke to Victor Brown from Spectrum, Employee ID 5508, who told me they could cut my spectrum bill down by $25/month for 12 months. Asked for a callback number and was given 845-660-2063 and of course, it is rented from Onvoy (Called and they answered as Spectrum but didn’t pry much further.)
Got transferred to Jack who told me I would have to make the payment for next month’s service now and the payment would be processed by Alliance Network Corporation. He seemed to be having issues validating my info but eventually, he said that my payment was completed and I wouldn’t need to pay next month’s Spectrum bill. Confirmation code 0131156972
