Received a call from an Indian purporting to be with Spectrum. He can offer me great pricing and reduce my bill. In order to do this he has to register me as a new customer and in order for that to happen we have to order a phone that I can just turn around and send back to Spectrum. He told me to put a top of the line iPhone 16 Pro Max in my cart and go through the check out process. When the phone arrives I am supposed to call him back at (316) 350-7401 and he’ll provide a shipping label to send the phone back to Spectrum. I’m sure this is an incredibly common scam but this is my first time encountering it.
