Scammer will ask for whoever’s holding the electric bill, calling customers on behalf of “Spark Energy, L.P.,” a fraudulent electric company located at:
- 12140 Wickchester Ln, Suites 10 & 100, Houston, TX 77079-1211
- 2105 Citywest Blvd Ste 100 Houston, TX 77042-2855
- 334 N Charles St Baltimore, MD 21201-4372
Spark Energy has a grade of C+ with the Better Business Bureau, alongside several user complaints regarding door-to-door solicitation with the intend of defrauding customers as your current gas company, or “associates of,” even to the point of ignoring “no tresspassing” signs, frequent robocalls of similar nature, price gouging and refusal to offer refunds. These complaints led the BBB to issue an active alert of which the company refuses to take responsibility to properly address.
The company was subject to several lawsuits for violations of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act in the states of Illinois, New Jersey, New York & Pennsylvania

The company also agreed to a settlement with the Connecticut Atrorney General, providing full restitution for at least 559 residential electric customers who enrolled in their overpriced contracts as a result of their illegal robocall campaign.
The company also agreed to a $1.5 million restitution with Attorney General James for tricking New York customers under the subsidiary of
“Major Energy.”
