A couple of hours ago I received a call from this German number +4966946104 on my landline phone in Spain, I took the call since I only got to see the number afterwards and they started talking to me in Spanish.
I don't have much information since the call didn't last long (I didn't have my PC at reach so there was a point where I couldn't cheat them into thinking I was a potential victim anymore). They said they were from Microsoft Tech Support, it followed the usual pattern: a guy calls you, tells you that they have magically detected 2 quadrillion viruses in your PC, then passes you onto another guy who starts guiding you through the Run window to "weird" Windows stuff (in my case, they told me to run comexp.msc and it ended there).
Sorry if this is not specific, but I couldn't get any more data than the phone. Note that I asked the second guy whether he could actually speak Spanish and he started speaking English (only a sentence, then went back to Spanish): neither of the two accents seemed native, and my gut feeling is that they are not German either.
