So I’ve made a rough sketch of a soundboad and was wondering what others think about it. There are a lot of buttons all around the place and I tried to put them into groups but it was a bit hard. The resolution is 817 x 919. The bottom part is for typing in specific error codes (Ill eventually remove the number buttons and just have a “My error code is ____” button with the text input below it).
I have a large amount of rights and okays because 1. the person I made this from says that alot, and 2. I feel that using the same sound over and over again gets annoying.
I can take any layout tips, possible phrases to add, etc.
note that this is a soundboard for the mute, this is not a trolling soundboard. I want to be able to play along as long as possible not troll them.
Hello, that looks great especially for people like me, because I need to use a voice changer when scambaiting, because of my age and my voice then sounds a little bit weird. (I’m under 15 years old. But I know what I am doing, know how to secure a VM, etc…)
@Tukario#74718 I don’t really know, right now I am using P5.js (basically javascript in a browser) to load/play sounds and have a GUI, but for some reason it requires me to have Brackets Live Preview because it doesn’t like loading local files. I am hoping to be able to share it, but right now I don’t know how I would be able to. Also, I can’t pay for any web hosting so I’m thinking something like Github Pages, but that is only for static webpages.
If I do post it, I’ll be sure to make a post about it.
Have you thought of just using Auto Hot Key if you don’t plan to make a public version? You could map it to what you want and then not need the big executable window. I have set up some mild annoyance keys such as open three new mozilla windows, close mozilla, kill all windows except windows explorer(desktop), auto correct words or phrases(such as virus to wirus, desktop to dextop etc). I have some sound clips I’m working on for days I can’t really speak up as I am sick semi-often. Basic things like hello, hi, ye…yes it’s a desk computer, etc etc.
