I got a call from an irate man who thought that I was a scammer, gave details… I tried telling him what scambaiting is, but he blocked my number.
Has this ever happened to anyone here?
Please don’t tell me you used your actual phone number for scambaiting
First cell phone that I got after moving to a new city I was getting blown up with people asking why I called them. I just blocked the calls & didn’t respond. It happens, especially when non-contract cell phone companies use obvious numbers like xxx-220-xxxx
Have seen when scammers use known family/friends numbers too.

Of course I’m not using my regular phone number lol… I got that call on one of my fake numbers.
