I just signed up with Voip.ms following some recommendations on this forum, but which softphone is everyone using? I use Macs and iPhones for making my calls. I’m looking over the suggestions from Voip.ms, but it’s really just a list with no reviews or pros/cons.

I use Bria on my mac. I think they have an iPhone app as well, but I only bait from my mac, so I can’t speak to its utility on iOS.
i use google voice but ive been looking for a different softphone since im pretty sure ips cant be traced on it. I tried and I don’t get anything.

That was the problem I just ran into was configuring. I sent a rather terse email to voip.ms about their configuration instructions as I tried three different softphones yesterday and couldn’t get any of them to work. Their tech ‘support’ was less than helpful. So now I have all these softphone recommendations, but not the numbers. Back to the drawing board.
Appreciate the offer, but I have told Voip.ms to cancel my account. Their ‘customer service’ was abysmal and rude. Trying to figure out if there is another voip provider I should try.
