And this is very interesting. I used a SSN generator to get a valid SSN to give them. They said they couldn’t match the name I gave them with the SSN and that the SSN was registered to (they gave name) who is listed as deceased in 1976. It wasn’t their usual stall and confidence building tactic, if they were acting they really sold me that they were looking up the info. He wasn’t dismissive either like he was trying to keep me from wasting his time. He kept trying to make sure he didn’t mistype the number, etc and eventually apologized and seemed to be reluctant in letting me off the hook. I’m confused what the motivation was.
They possibly have a SSN database they're verifying off of?
Likely they are also using 1-619-537-6072 as another feed number.
They seem to have access to a SSN database, I used a SSN, and they said real name, and she was deceased (true).. WTF?
I knew I was using a deceased person SSN, and they named the correct name.
