Just received phone message with number 707-681-5148. the “Social Security Officer” wanted SS number to verify my identity. Not sure what the scam is, but I don’t have time to play.
These are Indian scammers. This is their MO:
"…In southern Texas border we found an abandoned rental car (Toyota Corolla). The car had blood and drug residue. The car was registered under your SSN.
You may be innocent identity theft victim so we will protect your bank funds. Transfer them to us (to scammers) special account for 24 hours. "
They try to take all victim’s bank savings.

That’s tech support
They answered as social security to me just now.
