Additional information about this scam: Calls made to potential victims with threats of arrest. I have some recordings in case anyone wants to hear.
Call is made, they ID themselves as Wayne Mckinney with the Clay County Sheriff’s Department and there are 2 citations for which a payment through Zelle must be paid. Reported to Zelle and grabified in Georgia, USA.
Sorry I didn’t provide more context. I found the number on guru, a poster stated that a fake cop called them: “Scammer. Fraudulent police officer “Officer” Wayne McKinney”

I dialed the number and the fake Sheriff answered and found my “file” right away then asked for Zelle.
