I got a text from Service Ontario proporting to block up my windows 10 and netflix accounts. I said thats a scam, then i got encrypted up with ransomware and my windows 10 key revoked, then service canada called on me to pay up in bitcoins to avoid the magistrate. I called service canada and they said that they dont accept bitcoins as a official payment method but they didnt say they didnt know if they accept it as a unofficial payment method. They also said microsoft does call people, when i said microsoft called about the hackers on the computer. So then I got a text from service canada about my CERB and CRA accounts and I didnt know anything about that. They stated that a refund was issued and not claimed about it for 35k.
I called the interac number from the text i got about the refund, and they said they had no record about it, and to call cancellations of visa/mastercard. I called cancellations and they checked my account and said it woulnt be necessary as there were no suspicious activities on it about that, and that the refund should go through ina few weeks.. They also advised to call the social security administration to retrieve a new social security number because there could be hackers on the computer.
