Whenever you register a new domain name your phone number becomes public information if your registrar doesn't protect you properly. Sometimes I register 50 cent domain names to get calls. Got two today off one of my domains.
TLDR about mainstreat marketing:
1- They try to trick you into thinking they are from google
2- For $349 they perform minor seo stuff for your listing. the scam call goes along the lines of
"Hey we noticed your business isn't properly listed on google. Google will send your business to your competition as they are properly listed on google" all this stuff you can do for free, and similar types of this business charge under $20 for the same service. If you ask about their name, they will say they are google. If you press they will say "Mainstreat marketing" but normal people will think they said "Mainstreet Marketing" so be careful.
3- THEY ARE USA BASED, baiting one call at a time is ok. Calling with 10+ lines with static is not. Don't bother swearing, they will hang up the call.
4- They dont have a, or I cant find, a website. Mainstreet marketing is not affiliated with them.
