In the ad market that caters to owners of scam centers I noticed this ad:
The guy advertising it specifically mentions that there is a function to blacken the victim's screen and instead of displaying nothing, it puts up a message in the middle of the screen saying "Please wait while your system is updating"
Shutting the brightness to 0/blackening the screen is often the most demanded feature by refund scammers looking to do "inspect element".
I don't know if anyone has yet managed to get their hands on this version of remote desktop software so we can start doing analysis on it.
