Scary refund scam development

I was baiting a refund scammer yesterday. At first, it was just the normal scam. He connected to my fake bank and transferred money from account to account, you know, then he inspected the element on the other accounts to make it seem like no money was moved from them. All this, of course, is normal, but here’s the new thing: after inspecting the element, he saved the html page to my desktop so if you reload the page, the changes he made are still there. This is just a heads up and it scares me that these guys are learning more “believable” methods. Please, bait these horrible scammers and waste their time.

can you provide the number?

@Micka1427#128569 Yeah I can give you the number although I’m fairly sure they changed it after my call.

They called me with the number: 203-514-7293 (It’s a textnow number)

I just told them I got a missed call from them but when I called them they were pretending to be GeekSquad refund department.
