I was testing out a new tool I programmed that farms scam numbers using typosquatted domains (https://norristownunion.neocities.org/scam%20number%20farm.html). While doing so, I found a scareware popup that says my clean virtual machine has a virus even tho they can’t possibly scan a computer from plain JavaScript and HTML (I’m a programmer). It says you can get rid of the infections with Advanced PC Cleanup. I checked with VirusTotal to make sure the app didn’t have a virus, and it doesn’t.
