So I was playing around with an Arch-based Linux distro running live off a USB stick. Knowing a scammer couldn’t do any damage at all, given the stick was read only, and he would most likely get totally lost, I thought I’d give Norton scammers a call. His voice volume was quite low, but it’s intelligible, and I had to jump through some hoops getting Anydesk installed. Once he got connected I think he recognized he was totally lost and hung up in spite of this old grandpa who he thought was an easy mark.

I tried connecting Anydesk ID 167716243 and Wireshark showed 45.127.137.235
